Kelly IT Resources is currently looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to directly integrate on our client.
Our client is an German software house, with office in the center of Lisbon.
You'll be responsible for
- Managing and improving their infrastructure;
- Automating and managing hundreds of deployments on both AWS and on-premise (Docker).;
- Calls with customers;
- Helping new team members set up their systems;
- Debugging and troubleshooting bugs in the software.
What will your day look like?
- Guarantee auto scaling and performance of their systems;
- Automate deployments, updates and backups for both AWS and Docker;
- Administrate and optimize resources on the complete AWS life cycle, along with security;
- Effectively monitoring access, data integrity, performance, errors and availability;
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to clients IT staff for planning, install and update;
- Develop and update scripts for automating installations, backups and updates of the software on AWS and on-premise deployments;
- Deploy and install software on their clients infrastructure;
- Provide customer support for our clients IT staff.
Why you're the right candidate
- Strong knowledge of AWS life cycle and Docker;
- Experience with scripting and automation tools;
- 3+ years of experience in AWS and Docker;
- Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection and disaster recovery protocols;
- Not required but experience in any of the following is considered to be an asset: PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, Nginx;
- Strong troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities;
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
