We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer who will be responsible for the design, availability, reliability and observability of our client's platform, with main focus on applying software engineering practices to build new capabilities, improve the existing services and remove toil.
Primary responsibilities:
* Apply software engineering practices to build and maintain a multi-account/region environment
* Design, build and operate a Hybrid/Multi region network
* Develop, test and improve curated Terraform Modules
* Design, build and operate K8 cluster
The ideal candidate profile:
* Proficient AWS engineer;
* Strong background as a software, infra or as a system engineer
* Experience with Software development and delivery processes and frameworks
* Containers specialist - Docker/Kubernetes
* IaC Specialist - Terraform
* Expert of at least one modern scripting language (Python, Go, Node.js)
* Solid foundation in Linux and networks administration/troubleshooting
* Automation and continuous delivery practices expert
* Strong background with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef
* Expert in Git/GitHub/Bitbucket/GitLab
* Expert with monitoring tools like CloudWatch/Prometheus/ELK
* Good communicator, able to present complex ideas understandably
* Experience working with Agile/Scrum
* University degree
* Fluent English (spoken and written)
